 Pyinma (lagerstroemia calyculata) was more plentiful until a near total export ban that started about 5 years ago. Now it is very hard to find for sale. Also sold by other vendors as: Curly Asian Satinwood and it is not a satinwood but a type of crepe myrtle that grows in Laos and southeast Asia.

These unique pieces were all cut from the same slab and are almost dry at around 14% moisture (with a variance in different areas of the pieces, some parts are actually dry and some areas may be more than 14%) .
